About

A small, daily act of grace.

Manna began with a simple conviction: that scripture and prayer are most steadying when they meet us in the ordinary moments of a day — the quiet of an early morning, the weight we carry to work, the worry we lie awake with. So we built a companion that arrives gently, in the place people already are: their everyday messages.

Each morning, Manna sends a Bible verse chosen to speak to where you are, with a short, warm reflection. Alongside it runs a quiet prayer exchange: you can share, in a sentence, what you are walking through, and each day you receive one stranger’s request to pray over — while someone, somewhere, prays over yours. No names. No profiles. Only the knowledge that you have been carried, and that you have carried someone too.

We believe this should be open to anyone who wants it. Manna is offered free of charge, in English, Sinhala, and Tamil, with no subscriptions, no advertising, and nothing to sell. It is run as a community service, supported and operated by its parent company so that the people who use it never have to.

Prayer requests are read with care and handled privately, and they are always anonymised before they are ever shared. Manna is a companion for the everyday, not a crisis or counselling service — and we are clear about that, pointing anyone who needs urgent help toward real, present support.
