Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Manna (“the Service”), a free daily Bible verse and prayer companion delivered over WhatsApp and operated by ZENTRA HOLDINGS (PVT) LTD (“Zentra Holdings”, “we”, “us”). By subscribing to or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Manna sends a daily Bible verse with a short reflection, chosen to relate to what you share with us, and offers an optional anonymous prayer exchange in which subscribers pray for one another. The Service is available in English, Sinhala, and Tamil, and is delivered through WhatsApp.

2. Free of charge

The Service is provided free of charge as a community service. There are no subscriptions, fees, or advertising. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time without liability.

3. Provided “as is”

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zentra Holdings will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

4. Not a substitute for professional care

Manna offers spiritual encouragement only. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or crisis advice, and it is not a substitute for professional or emergency care. If you are in distress or crisis, please seek qualified help. In Sri Lanka, you can reach the National Mental Health Helpline on 1333 or Sumithrayo on 011 2 682 535. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

5. Acceptable use

When you use the Service, you agree that you will not:

• share another person’s private or identifying information without their consent;
• send unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening, or harmful content;
• use the Service to harm, deceive, exploit, or distress others;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service; or
• use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

We may suspend or end your access to the Service if you misuse it or breach these Terms.

6. The prayer exchange

If you take part in the prayer exchange, you understand that a request you submit may be shared with another subscriber, in anonymised and summarised form, so that they can pray over it, and that you may receive another person’s request in return. Please share respectfully and avoid including names, contact details, or sensitive identifying information. You are responsible for the content you submit.

7. Content and intellectual property

Scripture quotations are drawn from publicly available translations of the Bible. The Manna name, design, and original content are owned by Zentra Holdings and may not be copied or reused without permission. You retain ownership of the words you send us; by submitting them, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use them solely to operate the Service, including to deliver anonymised prayer requests as described above.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data. Messages are delivered through WhatsApp and are also subject to WhatsApp’s own terms and policies.

9. Ending the Service

You may leave the Service at any time by replying STOP to any message. We may also suspend or end the Service, or your access to it, where necessary to protect users, comply with the law, or address misuse.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any dispute relating to them or to the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

12. No affiliation with WhatsApp or Meta

Manna is an independent community service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
